After the decision
Delivery and acceptance
What gets recorded in the portal after the contract is signed — and what happens outside it.
- Duration: 10 min
- Read first: Confirm the contract
Once the contract is confirmed, the work moves out of the portal. What stays is the record-keeping: delivery dates can be held against a contract, along with whether they were accepted.
What is recorded
- The agreed date and the actual date
- Whether the delivery was accepted
- A remark alongside it
The buying organisation maintains this. For you it is mainly a matter of traceability: what is recorded there is the shared view of where things stand.
What it is not
Not a delivery note, not invoicing, not logistics. Those run through your usual channels, not through e-Request.
Nor is acceptance a scoring of your performance that you would see as a rating. Assessments the buying organisation makes about your company are not shown to you.
If a date cannot be met
Say so early and directly to your contact. An entry in the portal does not replace the conversation — it records what was agreed. A postponed date that was announced is a different matter from one that simply passed.
For the next tender
What is properly documented here is your track record with this particular buyer — the one who issues the invitation. That is the practical reason not to treat the record-keeping as a formality.
